Hi! My name is Nikki Austin-Horn. I'm a born and raised Oregonian who has fully embraced the D.I.Y. movement. I have a B.S. in Graphic Design but have taken my design skills beyond just the computer and have implemented them into as many different mediums as I can.
I started out like any designer with drawing and painting, so as far as projects go I would consider those types of art my comfort zones. I then moved my drawing skills into cake decorating, which I enjoy on a time to time basis, and I've just recently moved into pyrography (wood burning) which is now becoming my favorite medium to work in.
Like a true Oregonian I enjoy activities like camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, etc.., and it's through those activities that I get a lot of my artistic inspiration. Inspiration for both the materials used in my projects and the topics of my art.
